Our paper <a href="https://emptysqua.re/blog/leaseguard-raft-leader-leases-done-right/">LeaseGuard: Raft Leases Done Right</a> was accepted, and I was excited to go present it, especially because this year the conference was in Bengaluru/Bangalore. <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/emptysquare/albums/72157594463266389/">I haven&rsquo;t been to India in 20 years</a>. I prepended <a href="https://emptysqua.re/blog/nepal-trek/">a trip to Nepal</a> so I could spend time outside in a cooler part of the subcontinent, and I spent <a href="https://emptysqua.re/blog/bengaluru/">a few days touristing around Bangalore</a> before and after the conference.</p>
